Are you a student or young professional who’s passionate about social media, creativity, and doing something meaningful? Want to build your portfolio, grow your skills, and be part of something bigger — all while working remotely? Then this volunteer opportunity at Project HOPE Poland is for you!
We're on the lookout for a Volunteer Social Media Assistant to help us grow our online presence and connect with people who care about global health and humanitarian action.
As our Social Media Assistant, you’ll:
- Help plan and create awesome content for our platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn).
- Write catchy posts, share real impact stories, and keep our audience engaged.
- Monitor comments and messages – and respond in a friendly, professional way.
- Bring creative ideas to life with graphics, videos, and more (using tools like Canva).
- Support online campaigns and events that raise awareness and spark change.
- Track what’s working (and what’s not), and help us improve with social media insights.
- Occasionally meet up with our Kraków-based team to brainstorm or celebrate wins together
This role is perfect for you if you:
- Are currently studying or recently graduated in communications, marketing, journalism, or a related field.
- Love social media and know your way around Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
- Have some experience using Canva or similar design tools.
- Can write clearly and creatively in English.
- Want to gain hands-on experience in nonprofit communications.
- Are organized, proactive, and full of ideas.
- Are passionate about making the world a better place
Bonus Points If You:
- Have experience running social media for a student group, nonprofit, or personal project.
- Know how to edit short videos or reels.
- Have an eye for trends and understand what gets people talking online.
