Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) Coordinator Project HOPE Poland_Krakow
Project HOPE is looking for a dedicated MHPSS Coordinator to lead the development and implementation of our national MHPSS strategy—empowering communities, strengthening local systems, and ensuring access to high-quality psychosocial care. The MHPSS Coordinator at Project HOPE will lead the planning, implementation, and evaluation of mental health and psychosocial support programs, focusing on empowering children, youth, and school staff affected by conflict and displacement. This role involves managing a team of MHPSS professionals, collaborating with partners and government agencies, and integrating MHPSS into health, education, and community systems. A key responsibility includes delivering training using the Mind C.A.R.E. Youth curriculum. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in MHPSS programming within humanitarian settings and a passion for promoting mental health and resilience in vulnerable communities.

Our Key Responsibilites:
- Lead and manage all MHPSS programs across the country, aligned with Project HOPE’s mission and global best practices.
- Develop and refine a long-term MHPSS strategy tailored to local contexts and needs.
- Supervise and mentor a team of psychologists, social workers, and field staff to deliver impactful services.
- Design and conduct training sessions, including Mind C.A.R.E. Youth, for educators, health professionals, and community leaders.
- Promote mental health awareness through public campaigns, IEC materials, and digital content.
- Build and strengthen partnerships with NGOs, government agencies, and international organizations.
- Represent Project HOPE in MHPSS coordination forums and advocacy platforms.
- Integrate MHPSS into broader health, education, and protection programming.
- Oversee M&E systems and ensure high-quality reporting and data-driven improvements.
- Provide technical input for grant proposals and program design.
Be the Voice of Mental Health in Humanitarian Response. We’re looking for a natural leader with at least 2 years of experience coordinating MHPSS programs in humanitarian or development settings. Someone who thrives in dynamic environments, leads with empathy, and brings people together to create meaningful, community-based mental health solutions, a qualified mental health professional—Psychologist, Clinical Social Worker.
- Fluent in English and Polish
- Skilled in program design, team leadership, and inclusive training
- Confident in budgeting, reporting, and cross-sector collaboration
- Grounded in protection principles, human rights law, and cultural sensitivity
