We are currently recruiting for our client – Alpha Polska – for the position of:
Director of Operations – EURASIA
Location: Poland / Europe (remote or hybrid, with travel)
Full-time
Form of employment: Employment contract or B2B
Start date: September / October 2025
Salary: £2,500 – £3,000 gross per month (equivalent to approx. 12,000–15,000 PLN gross)
About Alpha
Alpha is an international programme that helps people explore and deepen their relationship with Jesus. Alpha sessions are hosted in a spirit of hospitality, openness, and respect – in churches, communities, prisons, schools, and universities – in over 100 countries and more than 100 languages. Alpha has been present in Poland since 2000 and has already been run in over 900 locations.
Purpose of the Role
The Director of Operations – EURASIA will oversee the development of Alpha’s organisational structures across Central and Eastern Europe, the Caucasus, and Central Asia.They will support local Alpha offices and leaders in the areas of HR, operations, team management, and strategic planning.This is a role that requires both operational excellence and spiritual maturity – as well as a deep understanding of Alpha’s evangelistic mission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Alpha’s organisational structures in the region (including legal entities and offices)
- Recruit, onboard, and support Alpha staff in the EURASIA countries
- Design and lead leadership development programmes
- Provide HR guidance and ensure alignment with Alpha International’s policies
- Co-create strategy and action plans with the Regional Director
- Coordinate regional reporting and donor communication
- Directly supervise 4–5 team members
- Collaborate (dotted line) with approx. 20 national Alpha leaders across the region
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in organisational, team or HR leadership
- Educational background in management, HR, or business
- Fluent English required; Russian is a strong asset (candidates fluent in both will be preferred, given the regional context)
- Experience in international work, coaching, and leadership development
- Willingness to travel internationally
- Experience in the EURASIA context is a plus
- Strong identification with the Christian faith and Alpha’s mission – we are looking for someone who combines professional competence with a heart for evangelisation and unity.
