The Research Coordinator will support MFC’s projects by carrying out research tasks, collecting and analysing data, preparing reports and dashboards, as well as coordinating research activities with partners and stakeholders. The role also contributes to maintaining knowledge tools and ensuring that organisational information is accurate, up‑to‑date and easy for the team to use.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Delivery of research projects:

  • Conduct research activities, including data collection, interviews, desk reviews and analysis
  • Design research tools and methodologies, such as surveys and interview guides
  • Analyse qualitative and quantitative data, synthesising findings into clear conclusions that support project objectives.
  • Draft research outputs, including briefs, reports and presentations, and evidence summaries
  • Ensure compliance with grant requirements and reporting standards.
  • Collaborate on research projects with external partners
  • Support organising dissemination events, online and offline
  • Maintain and update project documentation and records

2. Knowledge management

  • Identify key organisational processes that require documentation and mapping
  • Gather information from relevant stakeholders to capture and preserve critical internal knowledge
  • Recommend appropriate tools, structures, and formats to ensure information is easily accessible
  • Design and implement processes that keep organisational information up to date
  • Establish feedback loops to ensure information from MFC members and clients is captured and analysed
  • Maintain, update, and analyse CRM system data to ensure accuracy and support organisational decision‑making.
  • Produce clear, insightful reports and dashboards based on CRM data to track performance, identify trends, and inform strategic actions.

3. Internal capacity building and teamwork

  • Regularly share relevant sector-specific data and insights with the team.
  • Work closely with other team members of the MFC to ensure smooth coordination of research activities
  • Foster positive and collaborative work environment

Qualifications:

Essential

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in economy, social studies or other relevant
  • At least 3 years of experience in research projects
  • Strong knowledge of research methodologies and data collection tools
  • Proficiency in English
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience in producing reports and papers

Optional

  • Knowledge of the microfinance sector
  • Experience of working on EU co-financed projects
  • Knowledge of Russian language
  • Experience of working with CRM systems

Work conditions:

Full time with flexible working hours between 7 am and 7 pm; remote work with one day in the office located in the Warsaw city centre (office available all week).
