We are looking for a Project Assistant to support our capacity building activities for microfinance institutions across Europe. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates interested in responsible finance and the social economy to develop project coordination experience in an international environment.
Your main responsibiltiies will be:
- Supporting the coordination and implementation of capacity building events within the assumed budget and schedule
- Communicating with trainers, experts and speakers regarding training event set up and delivery
- Contributing to the planning and development of training events
The position is offered as a permanent contract with a probation period of 6 months. The role is intended to be full-time, although other options may be considered. The work arrangement is hybrid; MFC team works primarily remotely, with one regular day per week in our Warsaw office.
Key tasks
- Work with project coordinator to prepare trainings, workshops and webinars (for example: search for conference room rental offers, catering; set up Zoom meetings, polls and survey technical creation, introductory slides and graphics preparation)
- Closely cooperate with project coordinator to create events’ reports and marketing content (for example: invitation to event to be posted on www and on social media)
- Internet research
- Perform administrative tasks such as preparing summaries of events, presentations, scheduling meetings, collecting and maintaining project documentation, etc.
- Keep track of and report on tasks progress
- Making travel arrangements (plane tickets, hotel reservation, etc.).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or student)
- Fluency in English (close to native level)
- Experience in organising events/training
- Commitment and very good organization of work
- Ability to work independently and as a part of the team
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Good knowledge of digital communication practises and techniques
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
Optional
- Knowledge of Russian
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools (e.g. Asana)
- Good knowledge of Canva, YouTube, WordPress, Excel, Word, PPT, MS Forms
Salary (gross): 5,000-6,000 PLN
