Volunteer Call – Inkuru y'Itabaro (Story of Rescue)
Inkuru y'Itabaro is a unique cultural production inspired by the story of Ndabaga, Rwanda’s legendary heroine known for her courage, sacrifice, and determination. Through traditional dance, theatre, music, and storytelling, the performance brings to life Ndabaga’s journey while celebrating Rwanda’s rich cultural heritage and the values of resilience, leadership, and hope. Organized by Fundacja Kultury Afrykańskiej Icyeza, the event aims to promote intercultural dialogue and cultural understanding among diverse communities.
We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers and team members to support the successful delivery of this event. Applicants of all nationalities are welcome.
Volunteer Positions
Event Management
Event Coordinator / Timekeeper – Oversees scheduling and ensures smooth event flow.
Master of Ceremony (MC) – Hosts and facilitates the event program.
Stage & Production Team
Stage Coordinator – Manages stage operations and backstage activities.
Stage Crew Volunteers (3) – Assist with stage setup, props, and scene transitions.

Child Actors (4–5)
Narrator
Female Supporting Actors (4–5)

Royal Attendants / Guards (2)
Guest Services
Ticketing Volunteers – Assist with ticket verification and audience reception.
Protocol Team – Welcome and guide guests, VIPs, partners, and performers.
Media & Communications
Photographer – Capture event photography.
Videographer – Record performances and key event moments.
Content Creator – Create engaging content for social media and promotional purposes.
Logistics & Transport
Volunteer Drivers (with own vehicles) – Support transportation needs for artists and equipment. Fuel costs will be reimbursed by the organization.
